The sixth annual essential2®life 5K, held April 7, 2012, raised more than $26,000 for the American Red Cross. Presented by the member companies of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and Chemistry Council of New Jersey, more than 1,000 participated in the event held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City.
The PPG Industries Foundation once again donated $5,000 to the Women in Engineering (WiE) Program at The Ohio State University to support the WiE CHEER (CHEmical Engineering Rocks!) summer day camp for girls about to enter ninth grade.
