More than 1,500 PPG volunteers and community partners took part in the initiative, dedicating more than 10,000 hours to transform classes and learning spaces for more than 12,200 students and educators.

As part of the company's commitment to giving to the local community, employees recently handed out the backpacks with school supplies to the students at Paul Robeson Charter School in Trenton. New Jersey. The students ranged from third grade to eighth grade.

PPG brought together more than 80 volunteers, including employees, customers, suppliers, and teachers to refurbish more than 10 school buildings as well as other infrastructure around the school. 

The project brought together 60 volunteers consisting of PPG employees, customers, teachers, and members of the local community, who painted the school with a fresh new color scheme.

Marking the company’s 140^th anniversary, the 1,400-square-foot experience center is part of a recent renovation of the top two floors of One PPG Place, the company’s iconic, Philip Johnson-designed global headquarters. 

The project brought together more than 50 PPG employee volunteers along with volunteers from painting firm Bell Group, who together spent five days beautifying six classrooms and the school’s playground areas.

The company will support programs that meet the specific environmental needs in markets where it operates, aligned with climate action and a more circular economy.

The projects were carried out at the Lucie Aubrac school in Moreuil and the Association Pour l'Enfance Rurale (APER) in Saultain. PPG donated nearly 100 gallons (450 liters) of its SEIGNEURIE paint. 

PPG announced that it has completed a colorful and transformative makeover at Carolina Ometto Pavan School in Américo Brasiliense City, Brazil, through its New Paint for New start initiative, part of the company’s COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® program.

In the second year of New Paint for a New Start, PPG employees around the world are volunteering their time throughout the months of June, July and August to transform more than 25 schools.
