The project brought together 60 volunteers consisting of PPG employees, customers, teachers, and members of the local community, who painted the school with a fresh new color scheme.
Marking the company’s 140th anniversary, the 1,400-square-foot experience center is part of a recent renovation of the top two floors of One PPG Place, the company’s iconic, Philip Johnson-designed global headquarters.
The project brought together more than 50 PPG employee volunteers along with volunteers from painting firm Bell Group, who together spent five days beautifying six classrooms and the school’s playground areas.
The company will support programs that meet the specific environmental needs in markets where it operates, aligned with climate action and a more circular economy.
The projects were carried out at the Lucie Aubrac school in Moreuil and the Association Pour l'Enfance Rurale (APER) in Saultain. PPG donated nearly 100 gallons (450 liters) of its SEIGNEURIE paint.
