The company announced price changes for its specialty carbon black products in Europe and South Korea, aiming to address rising costs and innovation.

The increase is due to the ongoing raw material cost escalation, particularly butadiene, which has doubled since the beginning of the year.

Effective August 1, 2024, OQ will increase prices for various products produced at the Bay City, Texas facility.  

Effective July 1, 2024, OQ has increased prices for isononanoic acid and valeric acid.

Due to supply and demand, OQ Chemicals will increase prices for various products produced at Bay City, Texas, effctive March 1, or as contracts allow.

Due to supply and demand as well as increased raw material costs, OQ Chemicals will increase the prices for various products effective Jan. 1, 2024, or as contracts allow.

The increases will be 10% and will be effective as per May 1, as contracts allow. 

OQ Chemicals will increase prices for the following specialty chemicals effective April 1, 2023, or as contracts allow.

OQ Chemicals will increase prices for the following products effective February 15, 2023, or as contracts allow.
