Covestro received the highest possible grade A in four out of 10 categories. Covestro's overall score makes it one of 24% of companies in the chemical industry peer group that received such a rating, and rates it higher than the average for this group, which is B-.
Following an in-depth assessment by EcoVadis, Archroma further improved its score by four points (from 78/100 to 82/100). The company says the improvement is due to its ongoing efforts in sustainable procurement, focusing on supply chain transparency and best practice sharing with suppliers and industry peers.
