The spring conference season has been a busy one. PCI’s Editor gives highlights of four recent events that focus on specific regions, yet welcome attendees from throughout the United States and the global coatings community.
The recent European Coatings Show in Nuremberg, Germany was met with a new obstacle; a nationwide strike by public transport workers on the opening day of the conference. The strike almost crippled public life in Germany, as all trains and flights were cancelled for a 24-hour period.
The two-day program allows attendees to review the basics before taking a deeper dive into cost and process efficiencies, quality control, troubleshooting, and innovative technology.
The purpose of the course is to give attendees an understanding of the technical drivers for selecting and using raw materials and an understanding of the applications and testing of coatings with a summary of sustainability concepts and materials specific to paint and coatings.events.
With key topics such as CB market overview, improving sustainability in the industry, achieving superiority in supply chain, and others the event will try to give answers to these pressing issues.
Themed “Nutation – Reimagining the Paint Business,” the three-day conference will feature discussions and deliberations amongst paint and coatings industry members from India and abroad. 600+ delegates and over 40 panelists, comprising leading business leaders, technology specialists, and other experts, will share their perspectives on a range of relevant topics concerning this sector.
The workshop is directed toward scientists and engineers involved in product development and latex processing operations, and who produce or use water-based latexes for architectural and paper coatings, textiles, and carpet backings, pressure sensitive adhesives, printing inks, impact modifiers, etc.
