Beverage Industry Exec to Help Steer Sherwin-Williams

The Sherwin-Williams Company announced that Robert J. Gamgort was elected to its board of directors at the company’s annual meeting of shareholders. Gamgort was also appointed to the board’s audit committee.

Following the meeting, Sherwin-Williams’ board consists of nine members, including eight independent directors.
Gamgort currently serves as executive chairman of Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. and has more than three decades of leadership experience in the consumer products industry. He previously served as CEO of Keurig Dr Pepper and held executive roles at Keurig Green Mountain, Pinnacle Foods, Mars Inc., and Kraft Foods.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bob to our board,” said Heidi G. Petz, chair, president and CEO of Sherwin-Williams. “His leadership experience will support our focus on customer success, global operations, and long-term strategy.”
Gamgort holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
