PPG Board of Directors Recognized Among Top U.S. Boards
PPG announced that its board of directors ranked among the top ten in governance capacity, according to the ninth annual The Weight of America’s Boards study by JamesDruryPartners. The study evaluated over 650 U.S. corporations, assessing board members' business achievements, leadership experience, and governance strength.
This marks the eighth time PPG’s board has placed in the top ten since the study’s inception in 2011. “It is an honor for PPG to have its board recognized for exceptional governance,” said Tim Knavish, PPG chairman and CEO. “Their leadership strengthens our company’s strategic direction and enhances shareholder value.”
JamesDruryPartners conducts its annual study to provide an objective assessment of board governance across the largest U.S. public companies, measuring governance strength by directors' collective business acumen.
