The Land and Environment Court at Vänersborg District Court in Vänersborg, Sweden, has granted a changed environmental permit for Perstorp´s chemical plant in Stenungsund to allow for the production of more sustainable methanol.

Since 2017, Orion has disclosed its climate-related performance through CDP. Until now, the company has received a “C” score, indicating an awareness level of engagement. CDP says companies with a “B” score have reached the management level. Accordingly, a company with this score has addressed the environmental impacts of its business, and ensured good environmental management.
