Dow Performance Monomers, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Co., announced the shutting down of 20 percent of acrylate capacity at its Deer Park Operations in Deer Park, TX.

Huntsman Corp. plans to reduce its titanium dioxide (TiO₂) capacity approximately 100kt, representing 13% of the company’s European TiO₂ capacity.
