Chroma Technology recently announced that its ContrastMax SWIR optical filters for machine vision and remote sensing were recognized with a Bronze award from the Vision Systems Design 2022 Innovators Awards program at the Automate Show in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Johannes Meyer has received the EMVA Young Professional Award 2019 for his work "Light Field Methods for the Visual Inspection of Transparent Objects."
Jakob Engel, PhD student in the Computer Vision Group at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, has received the EMVA Young Professional Award 2014. Engel received the award for his novel approach to real-time visual odometry for a monocular camera.
