The European Machine Vision Association (EMVA) has made the “Global Machine Vision Interface Standards” brochure available for download on its website.
Jakob Engel, PhD student in the Computer Vision Group at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, has received the EMVA Young Professional Award 2014. Engel received the award for his novel approach to real-time visual odometry for a monocular camera.
During this years’ European Machine Vision Association (EMVA) General Assembly, members approved the preliminary board decisions and elected Jean Caron and Michel Ollivier into the EMVA Board of Directors.
