The recent European Coatings Show in Nuremberg, Germany was met with a new obstacle; a nationwide strike by public transport workers on the opening day of the conference. The strike almost crippled public life in Germany, as all trains and flights were cancelled for a 24-hour period.
The conference welcomed 24,605 coatings experts and 1,017 exhibitors from 42 countries despite a nationwide strike by public transport workers leading up to the event.

The European Coatings Show will focus on trends and technologies covering all aspects of the production of paints, coatings, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives.
