The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) of Southern California has announced new UV/EB technology listings for its Best Available Control Technology Guidelines (BACT).
Raising the concern that South Coast Air Quality Management District’s (SCAQMD) revision of Rule 1168 would eliminate water-based products in a variety of architectural adhesive applications, the Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) has submitted comments suggesting a more conservative approach of reducing these application limits.
The California Supreme Court has upheld standards by California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) that allow air pollution authorities to create air-quality regulations based on technologies that don’t exist but may be “reasonably anticipated to exist by the compliance deadline.”
