The acquisition included AUSA’s 250,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Barcelona, Spain, approximately 350 team members and access to 200 equipment dealers worldwide.

The award recognizes an individual who, during the course of his or her career, has made outstanding contributions to the coatings industry. Nominations are reviewed by PCI’s Publisher and Editors, and the winner is announced at the annual Coatings Trends & Technologies Summit in Lombard, IL.
In addition to non-stick coatings for industrial bakeware, the expansion supports the increased capacity for kitchenware and low-friction applications.
These certifications enable the introduction of bio-attributed cersatic acids and derivatives, reducing the carbon impact associated with fossil-based products.
This comes as vessel owners and operators face stricter regulatory requirements, while roughly six in ten say they will invest in anti-fouling coatings to reduce their vessels' carbon emissions.
