The company says Techno Blue – 2023 COTY – is a pulsating color that is right on beat with the rhythm of today’s lively energy. Techno Blue is formulated for various coating solutions, and enriches the already diverse Axalta color palette.

The three-day intensive training program is scheduled for May 3-5, 2023, in Toledo, Ohio. Classes include both classroom and hands-on sessions. Attendees should be involved with industrial, contractor, or maintenance spray finishing applications, or spray equipment sales and distribution.

AkzoNobel has completed the acquisition of the wheel liquid coatings business of Lankwitzer Lackfabrik GmbH, a deal that strengthens the company’s performance coatings portfolio. The acquired business will expand AkzoNobel’s existing powder coatings offering as well as the range of products the company supplies. The deal was first announced in July 2022.

Edward Bulmer Natural Paint has secured a six-figure funding deal from NatWest, and its asset finance partner Lombard, to support its continued growth. The business, which is based in Pembridge, United Kingdom, produces a range of natural paints, and employs over 20 people.

SUSBINCO, which Teknos is a part of, is a research project based on the search for sustainable and safe alternatives to current fossil-based binders and coatings. The project was launched in response to the coating industry's need to replace fossil-based raw materials, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
