About 194 volunteers participated in the project, including employees from PPG and Renault, school members and community residents and PPG provided more than 215 gallons of paint.

Inspired by the ancient Japanese tea ceremony, the color draws from a centuries-old pottery technique known for its unique, variegated patterns - a process that celebrates intentionality and the beauty of imperfection.

The volunteers brightened and colored classrooms, a lunchroom, and the schoolyard using more than 320 gallons of PPG paint.
