PCI’s Chief Editor comments on the increased activity on the regulatory scene and introduces CTT Summit’s panel discussion topic.

Innovators can compete for this award honoring new products or technologies brought to market. The award is presented by the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI).

The 48th annual FOCUS conference will take place on Thursday, April 18th, 2024. The conference will be held in-person at Laurel Manor in Livonia, MI.

This year's annual meeting included the election of the WCC's President and Vice President, as well as the recognition of the ACA's President and CEO for his contributions to the global coatings industry.

CPCA's annual conference will take place in Montreal in May, and will focus on topics including the increased focus on ESG and more sustainably sourced inputs for formulated products, how industry can adapt to a rapidly evolving digital world with AI at the forefront, and government regulations. 

PaintExpo will take place April 9-12 in Karlsruhe, Germany. Sustainability and efficiency are central topics this year.

PCI is looking for presentations on new technologies that have been significantly tested, as well as creative new applications of existing technologies that have been discovered and can help liquid and/or powder coatings manufacturers with their formulations. The submission deadline is April 5^th.

Serving the industry since 1996 and having a strong footprint in the Asian market, this year's CHINACOAT Exhibition is going to take place at Area A of the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, P.R. China from December 3 to 5, 2024.

Taking place April 18 in Livonia, MI, this year’s conference theme is “Emerging Challenges, Sustainable Solutions”, and will include topics on sustainability, innovations in coating chemistries, automation, color, and specialty effects.
