HOUSTON - Hoover Container Solutions Ltd. (Hoover) has installed thermo oxidizer units at its Scott, LA, and Houston service facilities.

In addition to providing interior and exterior tank cleaning services for hazardous and non-hazardous materials, these facilities are now equipped to clean and service tanks that have contained VOCs. In an effort to control VOC emissions, the hydrocarbon-based pollutants are destroyed using thermal combustion, chemically transforming emissions into carbon dioxide and water.

Hoover’s thermo oxidizer units are designed to eliminate more than 99.5% of hazardous air pollutants and VOCs from industrial air streams.

Houston-based Hoover rents, sells and services intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), IBC transport frames, offshore containers, intermodal (ISO) tank containers and related equipment for the storage and transportation of chemicals, liquids and fluids.
