ST. LOUIS, MO – ELANTAS PDG Inc. celebrated its 95th anniversary on November 19. Since its founding in 1919 by P.D. George, the company has become a major supplier of polymers for the electrical and electronic industries.
President and CEO Susan Graham currently leads the company, and under her strong leadership the company has enjoyed success and remains positioned for future long-term growth. In recent years, EPDG has continued to strengthen its commitment to its guiding principles of safety, service, quality and innovation. Additionally, EPDG is routinely recognized by the St. Louis Dispatch, the City of St. Louis, the St. Louis Business Journal, and CNBC as a leading company in the region, and is known for its contributions to the community.
"Ninety-five years ago, P.D. George himself coined the phrase 'The Product with a Pedigree' to describe the technology found in his products. We at EPDG work diligently every day to embody that attitude by providing innovative products and superior service to our valued customers around the globe," said Graham. "We would not have been able to reach this incredible landmark without our excellent staff, the support of the St. Louis community and our parent company, ALTANA, and for that, we thank you all."
Over nearly a century of growth, EPDG has expanded its offerings to include a range of products for electrical insulation, including: wire enamels, impregnating resins (varnishes), potting compounds, and casting resins for motor, transformer, generator, and other electrical and electronic applications.
