Stahl Names Green Technology Chemist

WAALWIJK, The Netherlands – Stahl has named Frank Brouwer to be the company’s Green Technology Chemist.
"Sustainability is a major challenge in our industry. Raw materials are still largely extracted from oil, and the use of solvents is often required. Finding solvent-free alternatives that are based on renewable raw materials is a major challenge for the coating industry. There are opportunities here for Stahl. As the Green Technology Chemist, it is my job to identify new sustainable technologies and materials and convert them into successful solutions," said Brouwer.
As a Research Chemist within Stahl, he helped to develop innovative, waterborne polyurethane products, including Stahl EVO.
