ALLENDALE, NJ/BASEL, Switzerland – Lonza Inc. has appointed KODA Distribution Group (KDG), Stamford, CT, as its representative for the functional chemicals line of products beginning December 1, 2014. The functional ingredients are typically sold into the plastic additives and construction markets under the brand names of Acrawax™, Glycolubes™, Glycosperse™ and Lonzest™.

KDG CASE and KDG Industrial verticals bring expertise in the coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE) and plastics market with their technical centers, application knowledge, marketing expertise, and technical sales professionals. KDG Industrial (Monson) and KDG CASE (Ribelin, EW Kaufmann, GMZ and PT Hutchins) will be adding these products to their current Lonza portfolio of products.

Since 2010, KDG CASE has been representing the Lonza Industrial Solutions biocides line of products, which include Omadine™, Proxel™, Reputain™, Densil™ and Omacide™. “KDG has done an excellent job growing our business; we look forward to working together further with our functional ingredients products,” said Julie Gallucci, Lonza’s head of NAFTA Industrial Solutions.
