D-Zolve™ 1220 is a high-viscosity paint and coating remover designed to cling to vertical and irregular surfaces. It is safe for use with most ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as marine fiberglass. The solution can be applied using either brush-on or airless spray methods.

It is a quick-acting, slow-evaporation-rate chemical stripper that can penetrate multiple paint layers without drying out. It removes difficult-to-strip aircraft paints, CARC, electro coatings, autophoretic and A-coatings.

D-Zolve 1220 has no chlorinated components, and is non-flammable and nontoxic. It serves as an economical alternative to sandblasting, shot blasting and burn off. It does not require any costly equipment and does not result in the need for wastewater treatment, dust-control or air scrubbing equipment. It also provides a safe alternative to burn-off paint stripping and sandblasting paint removal.
