HATTIESBURG, MS - The Southern Society for Coatings Technology (SSCT) is offering a 2 ½-day course April 12-15, 2015, in conjunction with the association’s annual technical meeting and conference in West Palm Beach, FL. The course will provide a basic overview of the coatings industry and how it operates.

“Coatings for Non-Formulators” is designed for employees of companies supplying raw materials or involved in coatings manufacturing. Employees involved in sales, office support, quality control, operations, purchasing, and technicians and new chemists will benefit from the course. Subjects covered in the course include market and application overviews, raw materials, coating formulation, processing, and application. A certificate of completion and one CEU credit will be awarded after completion.
