CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH – CVC Thermoset Specialties, a business group of Emerald Performance Materials, has appointed Michael Berlin Product Line Manager for the group’s line of Hypro™ reactive liquid polymers (RLP). The line is an expanding platform of 100% solids functional polybutadiene and butadiene-acrylonitrile co-polymers that cross-link into thermoset polymer systems to impart key performance properties. In this role, Berlin will be responsible for providing technical, operational and strategic direction to increase sales, growth of market share and the overall profitability and performance value of the RLP product line.

Berlin has garnered more than 20 years of experience in the specialty polymers industry, serving in technical, sales and commercial development roles. He joins Emerald from BASF Corp., where his position was in technical sales/commercial development.
