NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – National Paint Industries has purchased the Sampson Coatings company of Richmond, VA. Sampson is a manufacturer of clear wood finishes for the hardwood flooring industry and industrial coatings for the commercial maintenance market. Sampson dates back to 1899 and has nationwide distribution under the Craftsmen’s Choice, Wood Armor and Alcatraz brand names.

Many individuals from Sampson will be joining National in the areas of manufacturing, sales and customer service. “We are pleased to now have Sampson join such a well respected company who has continued to thrive for more than 50 years under strong and innovative leadership by the Schnurr family.
