FLEETWOOD, PA – Custom Milling & Consulting Inc. (CMC) has expanded its production capabilities into Brazil. CMC has acquired a 14,000-square-foot facility in Curitiba to expand its toll milling and custom processing services. The new location is equipped with CMC machines, the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment.

The new Brazil location enables CMC to take the next step in expanding internationally by providing custom processing services directly to industries in Brazil and other South American countries.

CMC Milling do Brasil Ltda. has a lab testing area open to customers and a production area for processing materials. CMC do Brasil staff will provide inventory management, storage, and shipping of materials and products.

The lab is equipped with a particle size analyzer, pH meters, UV testing equipment, viscometer and color-comparing equipment. Customers will have the opportunity to do trial test runs of their products and produce small- to mid-size production batches.

The production area is set up with CMC equipment that includes Supermill Plus^® horizontal media mills, batch mills and high-shear xixers. CMC do Brasil will have the capacity to process batch sizes from .5 to 500 gallons. Technicians and personnel that have worked with a wide range of wet processing applications will be on staff.
