CHAMBERSBURG, PA - Responding to local and global original equipment manufacturer (OEM) markets, Jim Nicklas has opened a new contract finishing service business, Sunset Industrial Applications Inc. (SIA), in Chambersburg, PA. Operational since May 2014, SIA recently held its grand opening celebration and unveiled the company’s new facility to dignitaries and special guests.

SIA is a Veteran-owned small business that offers production capacities and finishes in liquid and powder coating. Paired with a strong transportation and logistics network, SIA is located to serve OEMs and tier suppliers in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Nicklas has been the Owner and President of Sunset Metal Works Inc. (SMW), also of Chambersburg, since 2001. SMW is a contract manufacturer to global OEMs in a variety of markets. Sunset has been heavily investing in its manufacturing processes but lacked finishing capability.
