SAN CARLOS, CA - Kelly-Moore Paints and the Rodda Paint Co. have announced an agreement under which Rodda Paint Co. will acquire five Kelly-Moore company-owned stores, four located in Idaho and one on the Oregon border.  

According to Steve DeVoe, CEO and President of Kelly-Moore Paints, the five stores will join the retail group of Rodda Paint but will continue to distribute Kelly-Moore products.

DeVoe noted that while both Kelly-Moore and Rodda drive for increased sales in the Idaho market, Kelly-Moore will continue its aggressive retail expansion with eight new retail stores in California, which are slated to open by 2015 and include the company’s recently opened locations in Petaluma and Daly City.

Through this retail alliance, Rodda Paints will have full access to Kelly-Moore Paints' architectural and industrial product lines, color formulas and national specifications in the Idaho market. Independently owned, authorized Kelly-Moore retailers in Emmett, Hailey and Blackfoot, Idaho will continue to offer the entire Kelly-Moore product line.
