HILDEN, Germany - ASK Chemicals, Hilden, Germany, has appointed Frank Coenen to be the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Stefan Sommer. Coenen most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Tessenderlo Group, a global specialty chemicals group in Belgium.

ASK Chemicals is a leading supplier of foundry chemicals. The company has a portfolio that includes binders, coatings, feeders, filters, and release agents as well as metallurgical products including inoculants, Mg-treatment and inoculation wires, and master alloys for iron casting.
