MONTGOMERY, TX – The Powder Coating Institute announced the establishment of an Educational Fund that will solicit, recommend and approve scholarship awards to students who are pursuing studies in fields related to powder coatings. Students must be attending an educational institution that offers studies related to the powder coating industry such as polymer science, manufacturing or engineering.

The Powder Coating Institute’s Materials Technology Committee is administering the Scholarship Request Program and is working with the institute's Executive Director  and his staff to promote and solicit scholarship applications from students and educational institutions. The Materials Technology Committee will award scholarships based on a set of criteria established and approved by the Powder Coating Institute's Board of Directors.
