CINCINNATI - Emulsion polymer manufacturer Sythomer LLC has selected Cincinnati-based Omya as a national distributor in the United States.

Omya is now responsible for the nationwide distribution of all emulsion polymers sold by Synthomer for use in the construction, coatings and functional polymer business. Synthomer specializes in SBR, XSBR, SA and self-crosslinking acrylic technologies.

The contract is an extension of an existing agreement between Synthomer and Omya. The two companies have worked together globally for nearly 10 years.

Omya is a leading producer of industrial minerals and a distributor of specialty chemicals.
