WINDSOR, CT - Fischer Technology has received accreditation to ISO/ IEC 17025:2005 by the American Association of Accreditation Laboratories. ISO 17025 is the leading, internationally accepted standard for calibration laboratories; accreditation by A2LA demonstrates Fischer’s continued pursuit of quality excellence. Fischer can now offer ISO 17025 certifications for a variety of instruments and standards including:
- film thickness instruments and standards for eddy current, magnetic induction, X-ray fluorescence, coulometric and beta backscatter applications;
- electrical conductivity instruments and standards for eddy current comparison;
- ferrite number instruments and standards; and
- nano-indentation instruments and standards.
ISO 17025 is the benchmark standard for calibration labs and assures the competency of the laboratory staff and the accuracy of the calibrations being performed. Accreditation is another milestone in Fischer’s commitment to customers.
