II, Finland – Finnish coating technology specialist Picodeon announced that Fergus Clarke has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Clarke brings over 25 years of management experience in advanced technology industries. His appointment comes at a point when Picodeon is experiencing strong interest from OEMs in battery, LED, optical and life science applications.

Clarke worked for 18 years at Applied Materials in various leadership positions in Germany, Ireland and the United States. Subsequent to his time at Applied Materials, he led startups in healthcare and nutraceuticals and most recently was Vice President at UTi, a global supply chain company.
