MACON, GA – Imerys Talc has awarded specialty chemical distributor Lintech International the 2012-2013 Distributor of the Year award. Lintech increased sales of the Imerys line by 34% over the period and saw a 30% increase in number of customers.
Imerys presented the award to Lintech at a distributor meeting during the recent American Coatings Show in Atlanta. Randy Waldman, VP Business Development, and Derek Herald, Business Manager Performance Minerals, accepted the award. Lintech was praised not only for the increased sales, but also for the significant growth in the customer base.
Lintech has represented Imerys Talc for over 30 years. In addition to the Talc division, Lintech has a partnership with Imerys Carbonates, Imerys Ceramics and Imerys Filtration.
