BETHESDA, MD — Finding the latest state and local regulations pertaining to VOC limits for adhesives and sealants just a got a little bit easier with the addition of a new interactive tool recently added to the revamped Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) Regulations section of the adhesives.org and sealants.org website.
Using the map of the United States, EH&S personnel can access any state’s current regulations addressing VOC limits for either industrial or consumer adhesive and sealant products. The page offers access to the U.S. EPA’s national rule for consumer adhesives and sealants, which represents the limits for states that have not adopted their own regulations.
The page also offers access to the U.S. EPA’s Control Technology Guideline, which provides assistance to state or local air-pollution-control authorities in developing approaches for controlling VOC emissions from miscellaneous industrial adhesive application processes.
