WASHINGTON, DC – The American Coatings Association (ACA) announced the election of two new officers to its Board of Directors. Sandra Berg, President and CEO of Ellis Paint Co., will serve as Chairman, and Gary E. Hendrickson, Chairman and CEO of The Valspar Corp., will serve as Vice Chairman and Treasurer. Berg is the first woman to hold the board’s Chairman position in ACA’s 126-year history. Both Berg and Hendrickson will serve two-year terms on ACA’s board, ending in April 2016.
