LA MIRADA, CA – HORN, a North American distributor of specialty ingredients, chemicals and raw materials, earned top honors after being named the 2013 BASF Kaolin Distributor of the Year. A seven-time winner of the award, HORN’s sales growth was up by 36.9% over the previous year, contributing to its overall achievement.

BASF Kaolin presented the accolade to HORN during an all-distributor meeting, which coincided with the American Coatings Show in Atlanta on April 8. Accepting the award on behalf of HORN was Bob Ahn, President, HORN Industrial Division, and Vince Anderson, Vice President, HORN Coatings and Building Materials.

HORN has been representing BASF in the western United States for more than 25 years and has a longstanding partnership with the organization for more than 45 years. HORN’s previous award wins for this award includes the years 2011, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004 and 2001.
