Buhler is introducing a production system that combines homogenizing, mixing, pre-dispersing and downstream fine grinding with only two machines – the new inline mixer/disperser Dispernator™ and the high-performance bead mill line MicroMedia™ X. This unique combination, particularly the Dispernator, is making its North American debut at the American Coatings Show, Booth 1441.

The new Dispernator is an all-in-one device that enables mixing, homogenizing and pre-dispersing for a wide range of applications such as inks, chemicals, paints, coatings and other suspensions. For certain dispersing tasks, a downstream dispersing step is not required, meaning the Dispernator provides the complete solution from the powder intake to the finished dispersion.

From soft dispersing to nano true grinding, the MicroMedia X agitated bead mill is suitable for a wide range of products, including paper coatings, chemicals, paints, inks and coatings. Utilizing micro beads with a wide range of sizes, the unit opens up new possibilities in wet grinding technology.

Together, the Dispernator inline disperser and the MicroMedia X bead mill create a complete production line – improving efficiency, streamlining the production process and reducing energy consumption.
