BETHESDA, MD - A little-known but widely used process that is rapidly enabling new industrial science is the topic of nearly 100 presentations spotlighting advanced materials, super-fast processing and clean production at the upcoming RadTech UV & EB Technology Expo and Conference, May 12-14, in Rosemont, IL (Chicago).

The use of UV and EB technologies is rapidly finding its way into sustainable manufacturing and design solutions. Conference presenters will explore how the next generation of UV and EB materials are already changing, or are set to change, the way we make things. Products impacted by this technology include food packaging, architecture and building products, electronic displays and touchscreens, medical and dental procedures, and surface protection and decoration.

Presentations at the event include the use of LEDs, digital printing, additive manufacturing/3D printing, bioengineering and materials, smart materials, and surface patterning and modification.  In addition, a technology exhibition will demonstrate the latest materials and techniques for utilizing UV and EB in an array of processes.
