BUTTE, MT – Resodyn Acoustic Mixers announced event dates for its fourth annual forum entitled “Innovations and Breakthroughs in ResonantAcoustic® Industrial Mixing.” The event will take place August 19-22 in Butte, MT. The annual event draws industrial professionals, engineers, scientists and practitioners from around the globe to learn and share experiences and results from applications utilizing ResonantAcoustic Mixing (RAM) technology, while also exploring the dynamics and non-intuitive aspects of this mixing technology.

More than 100 experts and practitioners, both domestic and international, have convened at the past three forums for scientific and application-based presentations. The goal of the forums is to “fundamentally change the way you think about processing and mixing,” said Lawrence Farrar, President & CEO of Resodyn Acoustic Mixers.

Attendees will be able to watch live demonstrations and experience hands-on operation of Resodyn Acoustic Mixers equipment from laboratory-scale (LabRAM) through pilot and production scale machines (RAM 5 and RAM 55). New technologies introduced in 2013 included continuous mixing for solids, spray-coating applications using RAM, and the introduction of continuous chemical reactor technology. The August 2014 Forum will feature continued advances since the introduction of these new continuous processing methods.

The event combines technical presentations, technology demonstrations, hands-on experiences and problem-solving sessions. Panel discussions will report on ResonantAcoustic users’ experiences, applications and lessons learned. Live demonstrations will illustrate effective methods, processes, experimental designs and results.

Users and technical experts in the field are also invited to submit and present papers. The deadline for abstract submission is May 31, 2014, while registration for the 2014 forum runs through July. For additional information, call 406/497.5333, or e-mail reply@resodyn.com.
