HOUSTON - Hoover Container Solutions (Hoover), Houston, has acquired Container Co. Ltd. (Container Co.), a leading supplier of cargo carrying units (CCUs) for the offshore oil and gas industry. The acquisition complements Hoover's recent acquisitions of Consult Supply AS and Dolphin Energy Equipment, making Hoover one of the largest worldwide suppliers of CCUs. 

Headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, Container Co. designs, supplies and services a full range of standard and custom-built CCUs, including chemical tanks, baskets, skips, workshops, mini, half-height, closed-top, and freezer containers. Container Co. maintains a wide range of CCU sizes with a large, readily available inventory to meet its customers’ requirements while offering a full repair, maintenance and certification program.
