HAMBURG, Germany - Hamburg-based distributor VELOX GmbH is now representing AXALTA Polymer Powders’ Coathylene® range for composite applications. AXALTA Polymer Powders and VELOX GmbH have extended agreements between the two companies to include masterbatch production and rubber and plastic compounding. Demand across Europe for Coathylene products continues to grow, thanks to the material’s technical characteristics and application spectrum.
The Coathylene range offers thermoplastic powders in different particle sizes from various types of polymer. They are mainly used as a carrier resin for masterbatch applications, as well in compounding as a processing aid for tacky polymers.
