QUINCY, MA — Myriant Corp. (Myriant), a renewable chemicals company, has supplied commercial quantities of bio-succinic acid to Oxea. The bio-succinic acid will be used in the production of bio-based, phthalate-free plasticizers. It is produced at Myriant’s plant located in Lake Providence, LA.
Oxea is expanding its product portfolio of phthalate-free plasticizers with its new bio-based Oxblue product line. Applications for Oxblue include food cling wraps, flooring, soft toys, and adhesives and sealants.
