WACKER POLYMERS to Raise Prices for Dispersions in the Americas
MUNICH, Germany/ALLENTOWN, PA– WACKER POLYMERS is raising its prices for VINNAPAS® vinyl acetate-ethylene and VINNOL® ethylene-vinyl chloride-based copolymer dispersions in the Americas.
Effective February 15, 2014, WACKER will implement a price increase of up to five percent per wet pound, or as customer contracts allow.
This measure has been necessitated by the continued increase in raw material cost.

My Company, ElizaNor Polymer, LLC, has developed a proprietary polymer technology which will allow the reduction of VOCs in solvent-borne coatings. We have found that conversion of the linear polymers in these coatings to globular-shaped nanoparticles will allow a significant reduction of VOCs without negatively affecting physical properties such as adhesion, viscosity anddeformability.
