WILMINGTON, DE – Ashland Specialty Ingredients, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc., will increase the price of its portfolio of intermediates and specialty solvents sold globally effective January 1, 2014, or as contracts allow. Prices for 1,4 butanediol (BDO) and it downstream derivatives will increase up to $0.08/kg.
