EXTON, PA - The NETZSCH TORNADO^® T2 rotary lobe pump won Processing Magazine’s 2013 Breakthrough Product of the Year award at the 2013 Chem Show in New York.

Processing Magazine’s Breakthrough Products of the Year awards recognize products, technologies and services that made significant contributions in the process industries within the last year and are expected to impact the industry for years to come. The TORNADO T2 was recognized for materials advances applied to rotary lobe pumps. It addresses conveyance challenges by completely reversing the entire materials concept of conventional rotary lobe pumps by featuring a metal lobe with a replaceable rubber liner - a concept more like a progressive cavity pump.
