CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH - Emerald Specialties, a business group of Emerald Performance Materials, has appointed SiWax Group, based in Milan, Italy, and Madrid, Spain, to become the exclusive distributor for its line of Carnapol™ synthetic waxes in Europe.

SiWax Group has more than 60 years of experience in the development, production and distribution of highly specialized waxes for a wide range of end-use markets. The SiWax group includes Milan-based Spica and Madrid-based IBERCERAS and WAXMED, which has research and development laboratories for product development and customer support.

Emerald’s Carnapol products are synthetic waxes made from a vegetable-based amide. They are similar in physical properties to some natural waxes, notably Carnauba. Two different product grades are available, offering different levels of hardness.
