2K Epoxy Aerosol Primer

MIL-DTL-53022 Type V aerosol-enhanced corrosion epoxy primer, a two-component epoxy that offers the convenience of an aerosol and enables users to complete touch-ups and small jobs quickly and easily, is now available. The primer is the first epoxy technology available in an aerosol to be approved by the Army Research Lab in Aberdeen, MD. Offering excellent corrosion resistance, the new primer is an aerosol version of Sherwin-Williams MIL-DTL-53022 Type IV 2K liquid spray epoxy primer, and meets the specification requirements of 1,000 h of salt spray and 40 cycles of cyclic corrosion. It is available in 250 mL and 400 mL sizes.

Market applications include military, heavy equipment and automotive end uses. Completely portable, this fast-drying primer may be used under CARC topcoats or any application where corrosion resistance is needed.
