LAS VEGAS - The 31^st Biennial Western Coatings Symposium & Show (WCS) will be held October 20–23, 2013, at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The event will combine a robust technical program with tabletop exhibits and networking opportunities. The WCS is sponsored by the Arizona, Golden Gate, Pacific Northwest and Los Angeles Societies for Coatings Technology.

The WCS will begin on Sunday, October 20, with a Welcome Reception and the Chateau Nightclub and Gardens within the Paris Hotel.

Educational tracks will be featured over the course of the next three days, featuring topics such as new formulations in coatings technology, recent advances in metal protection, achieving optimal coating performance, design of experiment, TiO₂ alternatives, and regulatory developments.

A highlight of the WCS is the trade show, offering tabletop exhibits of products and services for the coatings industry. Leading manufacturers, suppliers and distributors will be represented. The full admission rate is $425. The one-day rate is $225. Full registration for students and retirees is $150, with a one-day rate is $75.
