ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands – IMCD Group B.V. has acquired Singapore-based Paceco Industrial Supplies Pte. Ltd., a distributor of engineering and specialty plastics. Established in 1985, the company is active in Singapore, China and Malaysia. The company’s staff of 28 will all transfer to IMCD. George Chong, one of the company’s two founders, will remain the Managing Director.

The acquisition demonstrates the importance of China and Southeast Asia to IMCD’s growth and development strategy. Albert Stevens, Vice President Asia for IMCD Group, noted that the acquisition complements the company’s business in China and will provide a platform for additional expansion into Southeast Asia.

With stock in Singapore, Malaysia and China, Paceco represents some of the most highly regarded producers in the region.
